Tarmac Precast Concrete is a major supplier of precast concrete solutions to the road market. Few companies can match our resources, skills and knowledge, or offer the levels of experience and expertise, required to supply the specialised, high performance products so essential to modern road projects. We design and manufacture a wide range of products for bridges, sign gantries and box culverts. We can produce units of up to 120 tonnes in weight.

Bridges

- Bridge beams: wide range of beams available with spans up to 42m. Ideal for new and replacement decks  particularly where speed of construction is important.

Sign gantries

- Prestressed sign gantry beams and reinforced sign gantry columns offer unit weight reductions and simplified fixing methods.

- Spans up to 40m, quick to erect, road closure is not essential

- No maintenance, lower whole-life cost, no corrosion, & can be de-mounted

- More robust against impact allowing gantry leg erection closer to the carriageway with reduced secondary protection

 

Box culverts

- Used for water attenuation, road crossings and pedestrian and vehicle subways box culverts offer proven strength and performance over a long life with limited maintenance.

- Widths from 1.2m - 7.0m and lengths can be varied from 1-2m.
