M&E building services event

Tarmac's, TermoDeck & Thermocast join forces again at the M&E building services event to promote sustainable solutions to the industry

Tarmac's TermoDeck and Thermocast successfully united once again to promote their Thermal Mass benefits to Building Services Engineers at the National M&E The Building Services Event 2006, London Olympia on 10th & 11th October.

Product manager Emma Reese explained: "Once again there was a lot of interest surrounding "Tarmac’s Thermal Mass Systems due to the energy efficiency of these solutions" "This interest was further increased when we won the "Best Sustainability Innovation” award at the event where we demonstrated that by promoting these systems together Tarmac could now offer a complete energy efficient solution to the industry no-matter what the application. We were delighted to win the award, as it will really increase the awareness of the systems.

TermoDeck and Thermocast are designed as alternatives to air conditioning and both offer benefits of low energy, low maintenance, reduced carbon emissions and lower energy costs. In light of the new Part L Regulations and the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, this exhibition was an ideal opportunity to showcase low energy alternatives to the Building Services Engineers.

Visitors were also able to attend a free 30-minute presentation entitled ' Energy Saving Thermal Mass Systems from Tarmac' which proved to be a huge success and again generated a lot of interest.
